At The Canvas Company, we believe every wall has a story waiting to be told. A blank surface is not an absence — it is a canvas, an invitation to create. Since 2013, our founder Luis Zea, a Colombian–American artist and creative entrepreneur, has been shaping interiors across Latin America through The Canvas Company (Col). What began in Bogotá as a passion for pattern, storytelling, and craftsmanship quickly grew into a design house trusted by some of the world’s most demanding clients — from Marriott Hotels to W Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott. Each project carried the same promise: walls that don’t just complement a room, but elevate it, giving spaces personality, depth, and timeless style.

In 2025, Luis Miguel decided it was time to bring this vision to the United States. Inspired by the rise of tropical modernism, the vibrant energy of contemporary murals, and a cultural moment where home has become both sanctuary and stage, he launched The Canvas Company (USA). This new chapter translates more than a decade of expertise into a brand tailored to the American market — one that fuses Latin American boldness with North American sophistication.
